JBCE Invited EU Special Envoy for Indo-Pacific from EEAS

JBCE invited Mr. Gabriele VISENTIN, EU Special Envoy for Indo-Pacific from European External Action Service(EEAS) at Trade Policy Committee on 8^th October, 2021.

The Special Envoy gave a presentation on the  EU’s new Strategy in the Indo-Pacific and expressed the willingness of the EU to create an even closer relationship with Japan, including a  digital partnership, and explore further options for cooperation in the region,  building on EU-Japan EPA, EU-Japan Green Alliance, EU-Japan Connectivity Partnership, etc. The presentation was followed by a lively discussion with JBCE members on how JBCE could contribute to this strategy.
