JBCE’s Environment & Energy Committee welcomes a guest speaker from DG Grow on the REACH Revision

On 30^th November, JBCE's Environment & Energy Committee was pleased to welcome as guest speaker Mr. Otto Linher from the European Commission (DG GROW).

Mr. Linher explained the status of the REACH revision and shared its insights on the current challenges it is facing (unaddressed risks, regulatory processes and insufficient compliance).

He also detailed the objectives of the "Study on substitution planning" DG GROW will work on next year.

JBCE's Environment & Energy Committee will continue to monitor developments and will, when needed, further engage with stakeholders and decision-makers.
