JBCE’s Environment & Energy Committee welcomes a guest speaker from DG Climate Action on the Carbon Removal Certification Regulation

On 24th January, JBCE Environment & Energy committee invited Mr. Fabien Ramos from the European Commission’s DG CLIMA as a guest speaker.

Mr. Ramos explained the Commission proposal of regulation for a Carbon Removal Certification (CRC) published in last November.

His explanation and the subsequent Q&A session allowed the members to get a better understanding of the new regulation, and the anticipated path forward. JBCE Environment & Energy Committee will monitor developments of this regulation, and will engage with stakeholders as necessary.
