JBCE’S position on the European Commission’s legislative proposal for an End-of-Life Vehicles revision

On 1st December 2023, JBCE submitted its feedback on the European Commission’s proposal for an End-of-Life Vehicles Regulation (ELVR).

We understand that the EVLR proposal offers many opportunities to enhance the sustainability of the automotive industry, as highlighted by various companies across different impacted sectors represented by JBCE.

However, we do have concerns regarding the feasibility and practicability of the targets announced in the ELVR proposal.
